By accessing or using Skribble, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use our service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Skribble. If you're under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
2.Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Don't share your password with anyone.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
3.Subscription & Billing
Free Trial: New users get a 30-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue using Skribble.
Subscription Plans: We offer monthly subscriptions (Indie, Producer, Studio). Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: We don't offer refunds for partial months, but you can cancel before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
Price Changes: We may change our prices with 30 days notice. If you don't agree with the new price, you can cancel your subscription.
4.Your Content & Ownership
You Own Your Music
Skribble does not claim any ownership rights to your audio files, projects, or creative content. Your music is yours. Period.
License You Grant to Us: When you upload audio files to Skribble, you give us permission to store, process, and display your content so we can provide the service to you. This includes:
- Storing your files on our servers (AWS S3)
- Generating waveforms for visualization
- Processing files for playback and collaboration features
- Displaying your content to collaborators you invite
We will never sell, license, or distribute your music to third parties. We only use your content to provide Skribble's services to you.
Collaborator Access: When you invite collaborators to a project, they can view, listen to, and comment on the audio files you share. You control who has access to your projects.
Responsibility: You're responsible for having the necessary rights to upload and share any content you add to Skribble. Don't upload content that violates someone else's rights.
5.Acceptable Use
When using Skribble, you agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users in comments or messages
- Upload illegal content or content that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to hack, break, or bypass any security features
- Use the service to spam or send unsolicited messages
- Impersonate others or create fake accounts
- Scrape, crawl, or copy content using automated tools
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6.Service Availability
We work hard to keep Skribble running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give you advance notice when possible.
Your Responsibility to Backup: While we take data security seriously, you should keep your own backups of important audio files. We're not responsible for lost data.
7.Limitation of Liability
Skribble is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to provide a great service, but we can't guarantee it will meet all your needs or be error-free.
Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for any claims related to Skribble is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We're not liable for indirect damages, including lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
(Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.)
8.Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Audio Storage: Your audio files are securely stored on AWS S3 with encryption. Only you and the collaborators you invite can access your projects.
Data Retention: If you delete your account, we'll delete your data within 30 days. You can export your projects before deletion.
9.Termination
You Can Leave Anytime: You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We Can Terminate Too: We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- Your payment fails and you don't update your billing info
- We're required to do so by law
What Happens After: After termination, you'll have 30 days to export your projects and data. After that, we'll permanently delete your content.
